EPM Global Electronic Services, Inc. Obtains ITAR Registration

Markham, Ontario – EPM Global Services Inc. has announced that its Manchester N.H. facility, EPM Global Electronic Services, Inc, has completed registration under the US Department of State’s International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Administered by the Office of the Defense Trade Controls Compliance (DDTC), under authority established by the Arms Export Control Act (AECA), ITAR regulates the manufacture, export, import and transfer of defense articles and services, and is a precursor to serving the homeland security, aerospace and military markets.

“ITAR registration is a natural part of our company’s evolution. The new business disciplines required to meet the challenges of serving this market build on an already strong quality system base and will raise those strengths to a higher level.” said Cyril Fernandes, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Corporate Development for EPM.

“New England is fast becoming a hotbed of organizations and incubators serving the defense, aerospace and military markets. To compete effectively here, it was critical EPM receive ITAR registration.” said Shawn Brady, Vice President, Business Development. “To successfully meet our customers’ requirements, we have to be able to ensure the security of sensitive intellectual property related to those markets.”
